Ginger Rogers, LPC

Finding the counselor that fits your needs is a daunting and courageous task, and it would be an honor for me to sit with you as your counselor. My clinical experience is focused on interpersonal trauma and the effects it has on individuals, their bodies, their brains, and their interpersonal relationships. I also have experience with depression, anxiety, bipolar I & II, schizophrenia, and developmental disorders. I practice from a cognitive behavioral approach, and I pull skills from distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, mindfulness, grief and loss, self-esteem, attachment, and physical well-being. As your counselor, my first goal is to assist you to feel safe by not judging you, and offering genuine support. You are the expert on you, and I am here to walk with you, help you understand the science of what is happening, and empower you. I will teach you skills to regain control of your life. My hope is that you will notice how small changes create really big results. Life gets hard, and it might feel vulnerable to reach for help right now. I see the strength it takes. Not only have I had my own struggles with mental health, but I am also raising a son who is on the Autism Spectrum. I am able to offer a soft place to land for parents of children with ASD. My desire is to help you to see the light even through the fog.
