Hattie Bates, LPC
I believe every person has the capacity to heal, grow, and create meaningful change. My approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centered, honoring your unique story, strengths, and lived experiences. I take a holistic view of healing, recognizing the connection between the mind, body, and emotions. Together, we may incorporate mindfulness, somatic practices, creative expression through art, and practical coping skills to help you deepen self-awareness, build resilience, and reconnect with what matters most to you as we work toward your goals.
I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families who may be navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship challenges, or questions surrounding personal values. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for support, I strive to meet you with curiosity, empathy and genuine care.
My approach is informed by ACT, DBT, Attachment Theory, and trauma-informed care, including EMDR. I tailor therapy to your unique needs and goals. Wherever you are in your journey, you don't have to navigate it alone. I’ll meet you with compassion and walk alongside you as you move toward healing, growth, and a life aligned with your values.
