ADHD Evaluation and Treatment in Idaho (Adults & Children)

I specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD in adults and children ages 5 and older. ADHD can impact school performance, work productivity, emotional regulation, relationships, and self-esteem. Many patients come to me after years of feeling misunderstood or inadequately treated. My approach includes:

 Thorough ADHD evaluations

 Evidence-based medication management when appropriate

 Practical strategies to improve focus, organization, and daily functioning

 Ongoing follow-up focused on the whole person, not just symptoms

Telehealth Mental Health Services Across Idaho

I provide psychiatric care via telehealth anywhere in Idaho, allowing patients to receive diagnosis and treatment from the comfort of their home—without long drives or extended wait times.

Telehealth visits can include:

 New patient psychiatric evaluations

 ADHD assessments and ongoing management

 Medication management for anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and PTSD.

When clinically appropriate, I am able to diagnose and prescribe medications without requiring in-person visits, in accordance with Idaho and federal regulations.

In-Office Visits in Meridian, Idaho

For patients who prefer face-to-face care or who benefit from in-person visits, I offer appointments at my Meridian office here at Access Living. This provides flexibility to choose the setting that best fits your needs.

My Approach to Mental Health Care

As a Family Nurse Practitioner, I take a whole-person approach to mental health. Physical health, sleep, nutrition, stress, and medical conditions can significantly influence mental well-being. When appropriate, I consider whether symptoms may benefit from a physiological evaluation. I view the patient-provider relationship as a collaborative partnership. Follow-up visits are not just medication check-ins—they are an opportunity to assess progress, address concerns, and adjust treatment to support where you are in your mental health journey. I also incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)–informed strategies to help patients develop practical tools alongside medication treatment.

Professional Background

My career in healthcare began in 2011 as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a behavioral skilled nursing facility. After earning my Registered Nurse degree, I worked as a charge nurse before transitioning to acute care. I spent four years working as a Registered Nurse in an intensive care unit while continuing my education. I graduated as a Nurse Practitioner in 2016 and have worked as a primary care provider with a strong emphasis on mental health. Since 2022, my primary clinical focus has been outpatient psychiatric care.

A Little About Me

I have lived in the Treasure Valley for most of my life and currently reside in Nampa, Idaho with my wife, four children, and two dogs. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, outdoor activities such as biking, camping, and water sports, and tackling hands-on DIY home improvement projects.
